Vintage CASology
It’s Tuesday and time for a new cue word over at CASology! This week’s word sends us back in time!
I thought of old, patterned bow ties! Thank goodness I had this stamp set and die from Waffle Flower handy!
I die cut the bow tie using some patterned paper from Bo Bunny that was in my stash. I added a touch of sparkle to it using a Wink of Stella brush marker.
The shirt was made by cutting a line half way between the edges of the main panel and then folding the cardstock. This design could be used for upcoming Father’s Day too!
Be sure and go take a look at what the rest of the design team and this week’s guest designer created for inspiration!
Melissa Chipperfield – You are here.
Be sure and leave them some blog love! They’d love to hear from you! Then, don’t forget to link up your own creation on the challenge blog by Monday at NOON (CDT) for you chance to win a prize from Waffle Flower, this week’s sponsor!
Have a terrific Tuesday!

Fabulous card!
Love the fold – so much interest!
What a great design and I love the sentiment!!
This is a simple and clever design. It works so well for the cue word. And, that would actually be quite a nice fabric for a real bow tie, don't you think?
How fun…love that vintage bow tie, a totally fun pattern!
Now that is one cool bow tie and that sentiment is… well, awesome!
