Watch the Clock Wednesday: Simple Birthday
I love it when a card comes together quickly because some days I just don’t have the time I’d like to sit and play around much with design. Today was one of those days. We had a nice snow day and I survived my day with three children home & out of the usual weekday routine. My day consisted of making snacks, fixing meals, supervising extra activities, helping get snow gear on and off, drying snow gear between trips outside, feeding and napping the baby, playing peacemaker, loading a snow blower onto a truck with a former neighbor, processing the laundry, etc. I won’t bore you with anymore details. Let’s just say I’m weary. I eeked out a run/walk on the treadmill about mid-afternoon to re-energize and, about the time I hopped off all red in the face, the former neighbor I mentioned earlier arrived at the front door to load the snowblower! I’m sure I was a sight! LOL! Ah well, so is life. It’s not perfect, but it would be rather boring if it was, wouldn’t it?! 🙂
I’m finishing up the day with this very simple birthday card, another card for this week’s Splitcoast Stampers Color Challenge:
Supplies:
Stamps – Paper Trey (Enjoy the Ride)
Paper – SU River Rock, Basic Gray cardstocks, Paper Trey white cardstock
Ink – SU Whisper White, Basic Gray (I stamped the WWhite first, then the BGray over it.)
Accessories – QuicKutz embossing folder, SU Basic Gray taffeta ribbon, pearls
