Watt’s Up?
I ended up having a rather late stamping session in my craft room this evening simply because I wasn’t disciplined enough during the daylight hours to make myself just go in and start creating. Not that I mind the later hours for crafting, but there is something about having my creative time mid-afternoon that is rather satisfying for some reason. It’s like taking a breather in the middle of the day! I was determined to stamp something today, however, and here I am showing you a late night attempt at a CAS card. I apologize for the mediocre photo, but with no daylight, I used what I had…which wasn’t much. I may try to fix that tomorrow!
Stamps: Technique Tuesday |
I just love Technique Tuesday’s fun stamp sets and this one is no exception! So punny! I stamped the hanging light fixtures in SU’s Basic Gray ink and the sentiment in Poppy Parade. I then added red gemstones (perhaps overdoing it a bit…) for a little bling. Last, I rounded two of the card corners.
I entered this in Splitcoast Stampers’ Clean and Simple sketch challenge.
I hope you had a marvelous Monday! The snowstorm they’d originally predicted for our area completely missed us, so my Monday was fantastic!

Glad the snow storm missed you…I'm ready for spring! This card is CAS perfection. I love the red gems!
Ha! Perfect creation for a late-night crafting session! I know the problem of wanting to take a photo when daylight has gone. So nice to see your face over at my blog. Thanks for your sweet comments. Melissa.
Very fun card Melissa! Yay for the snow storm missing you!
This is so cute and you didn't overdo it on the bling – it's perfect! Love the sentiment placement too. Glad the snowstorm left you alone!
