What’s the Buzz?
It’s time for a brand new cue word challenge over at CASology and, this week, it’s a shape!
I was thinking I wouldn’t use a hexagon at all on my card (I was thinking more along the lines of honey bees…), but couldn’t resist when it came time to put my card together.
Stamps: The Craft’s Meow Paper: Paper Trey cardstock (white) Ink: SU (Daffodil Delight, Basic Black) Accessories: black gemstones, foam dots |
I fussy cut three separate pieces of honeycomb and popped them up with two different thicknesses of foam dots, the middle one being a bit higher than the other two. I added the three black gemstones as a final touch to bring out a little more black in the design.
I hope you’ll visit the rest of the design team members’ blogs and this week’s guest designer’s blog! Then, don’t forget to link up your own hexagon creation by Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m. (CDT)!
Have a terrific Tuesday!

I love this CAS design! Fabulous!
OK. THIS is what I wanted to do. AWESOME design. Even though it now has me singing that song from Jesus Christ Superstar! lol! Thanks for not firing me for my snowflakes (they are technically hexagonal cristals! lol!)
Very cute Melissa!
Perfection again! Love the idea of the hexagons and bees. Very cute.
