White
I have to admit, I’ve never really thought about making a predominantly white card. Maybe I have without knowing it, but I don’t remember it now! This week’s cue word over at CASology is WHITE and I figured I’d make an attempt to use the cue word as a kick off to making a white card…with just a little color. I first thought I’d make a snowflake card since “white” makes me think of snow right now and then decided to make the entire card white too!
The only pop of color I added was the panel I mounted the embossed piece on and it is brushed silver cardstock from StampinUp. I also added three small gemstones to the centers of some of the embossed snowflakes & rounded two of the corners for just a little something extra.
Be sure and stop by the rest of the design team’s blogs as well as this week’s guest designer’s blog! Lots of white inspiration is to be found!
After processing some more laundry, DS3 and I are off to a lunch date with a dear friend. I love it when there’s a little something extra to look forward to in a day! Wonder what we’ll end up eating?!

Beautiful card, Melissa! I love the little extras you added.
Just beautiful! And I so love snowflakes tho' preferably viewed from indoors with a fire raging.

Ah, snow! So pretty unless it's real (even then it can be ok, lol!) Love the texture and sparkle you've added and that we took the same word and idea and came up with two very different cards – creating is wonderful!
GORGEOUS!!! Love this beautiful card! I know I'll be CASEing this one. So pretty.

Life is beautiful, snow is beautiful, and so is your perfect inspiration card!
Melissa those embossed snowflakes are fantastic and I love the micro-thin border of brushed silver. Gorgeous!

Beautiful card, and the brushed silver really sets it off.
White and brushed silver sounds so wintry and icy…and then with the snowflakes, I want to light and candle and sit by a fire. Your card is beautiful!
Love the sliver of a mat. Gives such a cool shadow effect!
